CPR Courses

CPR courses certified through Canadian Red Cross.

CPR & AED Levels A, C, or BLS (Healthcare Provider)

CPR certification can be a standalone course or in combination with a Standard First Aid course. Three levels of CPR are available all include AED training:

 

CPR Level A with AED (Adult only)

Course Length: 4 hours in-class, or Blended 2 hours in-class + 3 hours online learning

Course Content:

  • The Red Cross
  • Responding to Emergencies
  • Check, Call, Care
  • Recovery position
  • Choking – adult
  • Assisting with medications
  • Angina and heart attack
  • Stroke
  • CPR and AED– adult
  • Deadly bleeding

Certification Duration: 3 years

 

CPR Level C with AED (Adult, Child, and Infant)

Course Length: 5 hours in-class, or Blended 3 hours in-class + 3 hours online learning

Course Content: All content from CPR Level A + content in bold below

  • The Red Cross
  • Responding to Emergencies
  • Check, Call, Care
  • Recovery position
  • Choking – adult
  • Assisting with medications
  • Angina and heart attack
  • Stroke
  • CPR and AED– adult
  • Deadly bleeding
  • Choking – child and baby
  • CPR and AED – child and baby

Certification Duration: 3 years

BLS (healthcare provider) CPR with AED

Course Length: 4 hours in class, recertification 2 hours

Course Content: All content from CPR Level A + content in bold below

  • Glove removal
  • Primary Assessment
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Airway Obstruction
  • Assisted Ventilation
  • Basic Life Support special considerations

Certification Duration: 1 year
